The Phoenician Named 2015 USTA Outstanding Facility Award Winner

Scottsdale, AZ (PRWEB) June 16, 2015

The Phoenicians renowned Tennis Complex, one of the largest resort facilities in the Southwest, has been named by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) as a 2015 Outstanding Facility Award Winner. The honor will be presented Sunday, September 6, during the USTAs semi-annual meeting at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in New York City, coinciding with the U.S. Open.

The award, now in its 34th year, was established to stimulate high standards in tennis facilities and to recognize those whose efforts make such a positive statement about the vitality of the game. The Phoenicians Tennis Complex was judged on the following criteria: overall layout and adaptation to the site; excellence of court surface and lights; ease of maintenance; accommodations for players, spectators and press/officials; aesthetics; graphics (including the use of signs and landscaping); amenities such as casual seating for spectators, food services and social areas; and the resorts participation in USTA programs.

Nestled between two fairways along the eastern edge of the AAA Five Diamond resort, The Phoenicians premier tennis facility is the only one of its kind in the region to offer four playing surfaces on 11 outdoor courts, including a Wimbledon championship grass court, seven Plexipave hard-surface courts, two courts with the revolutionary Rebound Ace surface, and a Prestige Plexicushion surface on center court, which also features spectator seating. The Tennis Complex, with 10 of its 11 courts lit for evening play, is available for USTA league competition, tournaments and special events, and is open to resort guests as well as the general public.

Great tennis facilities like The Phoenicians help us to grow the game at the grass-roots level, and we are proud to recognize them for their ongoing impact on the sport of tennis, said Kurt Kamperman, chief executive, community tennis, USTA. The Phoenician has embraced many of our tennis initiatives and kept the sport at the forefront of their community each year.

The Phoenicians tennis program, led by Head Professional Jason Purcell, now employs seven full-time professionals and support staff, who design and direct such activities as a year-round junior academy, 10-and-under tennis instruction, league clinics, resort and local live ball, and private classes. In addition, the facility hosts more than 20 adult USTA and regional league teams for match play, instructional programs, and playoff and championship events. The Phoenician staff also contributes many hours to support local charity events, such as Tennis with a Cause, Battle of the Sexes, and breast cancer fundraisers. For a complete list of tennis offerings, please visit thephoenician.com/tennis-courts.

ReactorNet to Showcase New Total Invoice Automation and Payment Capabilities at HITEC 2015

San Antonio, Texas (PRWEB) June 11, 2015

ReactorNet, a premier provider of Cloud-based eProcurement solutions for medium- to large-sized companies, today announced they will be exhibiting at HITEC, the worlds largest hospitality technology show, to be held June 15 to 18 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas. This is ReactorNets third consecutive year exhibiting at HITEC. Following a busy start to 2015, ReactorNet will use this opportunity to unveil their latest EPRO features which are heavily focused in the area of accounts payable automation. EPRO is an award-winning Procure-to-Pay platform allowing buyers to directly collaborate with suppliers to gain control of spending while maximizing purchasing power.

HITEC is always an exciting time of the year for us, said Anthony Kylitis, vice president of Marketing at ReactorNet. This year more than ever we look forward to attending HITEC and spreading our message that you can go further and do more with eprocurement without settling for the status quo. With EPRO, thats possible. This year we are showing customers new strategies for accounts payable ranging from scan and capture all the way through payment solutions.

Since the beginning of the year, ReactorNet has been forging new partnerships to help create a more complete and integrated solution for the procure-to-pay process managed by EPRO. ReactorNet recently announced a partnership with XT Global, a leading provider of technology services and business process optimization, which has given EPRO new scan and capture capabilities by handling paper invoices which still persist in many organizations. Many organizations who have implemented eprocurement are still dealing with paper invoices, added Mr. Kylitis. This is due to the fact that many industries are still made up of suppliers that do not have the resources to go completely electronic with their customers. This new enhancement, particularly our ability to capture line item detail, represents our pragmatic problem solving approach. It completely removes any data entry or quality assurance steps by the customer which almost seems unbelievable.

Through yet another partnership, which will be formally announced in the coming weeks, EPRO has also gained the ability to make payments directly from EPRO using a single use virtual credit card as well as ACH, wire, and physical check printing methods. This new electronic payment feature allows companies to not only continue to lower their accounting cost but potentially create a new source of revenue with cash back rewards made available through the credit card option. Many organizations are completely unaware of the additional costs associated with physical check printing, added Mr. Kylitis. Converting to electronic payment with literally the click of a button in EPRO just makes too much sense to pass up on.

ReactorNet is also excited for HITECs return back to the Austin area. In addition to talking about EPRO, we also look forward to just giving everyone a nice warm Texas welcome, added Nathan Waltrip, director of Business Development for ReactorNet. As a company from Central Texas ourselves, its always a treat to meet with people in our own backyard and show them our own hospitality.

Attendees of the show can preschedule demos by contacting ReactorNet at (210) 477-0200 or through their website at http://www.reactornet.com.

OUTSIDE Honors Absolute Travel Partner, American Prairie Reserve, in Its Best of Travel 2015

New York, New York (PRWEB) March 12, 2015

This year, OUTSIDEs adventure travel veterans scoured the globe to identify the coolest mountains to climb, food to eat, rivers to float, guides to hire, beaches to lounge on, and lodges to luxuriate in. The result is 30 breathtaking options from the guides to show you around, to the cameras to capture it all, to the places to stay, to the best place to grab a snack at a food truck along the way.

Since 2001, the nonprofit American Prairie Reserve has been working to restore the northern great plains to the pristine condition Lewis and Clark found them in more than 200 years ago, the article states. The resulting reserve, in northeast Montana, is now 305,000 acres. The aim is to reach 3.5 million by 2030, creating a U.S. Serengeti and the largest wildlife park in the lower 48, where herds of elk, mule deer, and bison thrive. But dont wait to go. You can sleep under the stars now at the 11-site Buffalo Camp ($ 10), four miles north of the Charles M. Russell National Wildlife Refuge, and take a DIY mountain-biking safari on old ranch roads, passing grazing bison and scanning the skies for American kestrels, Spragues pipits, and Swainsons hawks. Or paddle the Missouri River past pioneer homesteads and historic tepees to Kestrel Camp, a set of five luxurious yurts, each with AC, a hot shower, and a veranda for sundowners (from $ 4,800 for six days).

This is not simply a wildlife reserve in Montanathe American Prairie Reserve is a remarkable comeback story in the making, and an extraordinary gift for humanity, says Absolute Travel president Ken Fish. Just imagine being a part of Yellowstone or Glacier at their inceptions! Absolute Travel is privileged to connect travelers to Americas Serengeti and, together, help create one of the most impressive conservation projects of our timein our own backyard.

Building Americas next great park is an adventure in and of itself, says American Prairie Reserve President Sean Gerrity. So were glad to have OUTSIDEs spotlight shine on all that weve accomplished so far. We hope it will result in more supporters for our ambitious project.

OUTSIDE has been covering the adventure-travel beat for nearly four decades, said Editor Chris Keyes. We know this terrain, and now weve narrowed your choices of hotels, destinations, outfitters, and travel gear from approximately 10.6 million to 30. The final choice is still on you, but now the task is at least manageable.

The complete list of Best of Travel winners will be featured in the April issue of OUTSIDE, available March 17, and already is listed online at http://www.outsideonline.com/adventure-travel/travel-awards/30-Trips-to-Take-This-Year.html. Continue the conversation with #OutsideTravel2015.

Phoenix Releases the 2015 US Hotel SCORES Meeting Planners Study, Revealing Meeting Planner Reward Programs Lack the Broad Awareness that Frequent Guest Programs Have

Rhinebeck, NY (PRWEB) May 14, 2015

Phoenix Marketing International, a global marketing services firm, today released the 2015 US Hotel SCORES Meeting Planners Study. The study reveals that Meeting Planner Reward (MPR) programs lack the same broad awareness prevalent amongst many popular Frequent Guest Programs (FGP). With 95% of meeting planner respondents actively participating in FGPs, only 65% of the same audience are members of MPR programs, and many are not taking advantage of the programs benefits.

While rules around the use of rewards points varies from company to company, it is clear that meeting planners value and have more awareness around FGP more so than MPR programs, said John Antonello, Managing Director, Travel, Leisure & Entertainment Group. Hotel companies have gone to great lengths to create these programs, and our research tells us that they need to actively work on creating more awareness around their value and how meeting planners can benefit and reap rewards from membership and accruing points.

According to the research, Hilton HHonors Event Planner Bonus Program (66%) and Marriott Rewarding Events (63%) have the greatest level of awareness. Loews MVP (11%) and Starwood Preferred Guest Pro (6%) fall to the bottom of the pack with the least amount of awareness. The research also found that the offerings from Hilton and Marriott are the biggest threats to most MPR programs. If a meeting planner belongs to other MPR programs, it is highly likely that they are also a member in either the Hilton or Marriott programs.

Other key findings include:

60% of meeting planners are members of BOTH a MPR and FGP.
Among current MPR members who booked one or more meeting events at a hotel, 53% earned MPR points, 42% earned FGP points and 5% did not earn any points at all.
More than one-third of meeting planners chose to earn points with a consumer FGP because they are allowed to earn points and use them for company rewards (37%) and are able to use the points for personal travel (36%).
Although MPR members tend to concentrate their meetings/events within their active programs, the brands associated with meeting planner programs from Hilton and Marriott come in as a secondary choice for many members.

The 2015 US Hotel SCORES Meeting Planners study was fielded on March 10, 2015 and the last interview was completed on March 15, 2015. The study was conducted online with 1001 active members in hotel meeting planner reward (MPR) and hotel frequent guest programs (FGP). This report contains the 1,001 active member interviews: 648 MPR members; 952 FGP members. These individuals represent 1,423 hotel MPR memberships and 2,679 hotel FGP memberships.

To schedule a call with the researchers and learn more about the US Hotel SCORES Meeting Planners Study contact Marisa Katz (Marisa(at)larkinvolpatt(dot)com).

Tibet Travel Agency Offers Small Size Tibet Group Tours on Lower Budget for 2015

Lhasa, Tibet (PRWEB) March 27, 2015

Booking Tibet group tours on a budget is now possible for the 2015 travel season with new and improved Lhasa cultural tours by Tibet Ctrip Travel Service (TCTS) (http://www.tibetctrip.com). By matching small travel groups, TCTS is able to reduce per person costs while avoiding the pitfalls of crowded, impersonal, large group tours. Over four days, travelers will visit some of Tibets most important cultural sites and experience Tibets stunning landscapes.

Tony of TCTS has the details:

Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa. The travel groups guide will meet them at the airport or train station and accompany everyone to their hotel. Staying well-hydrated and taking time to rest after arrival is the best way to avoid altitude sickness during a tour of Tibet.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Lhasa. While the itinerary is customizable, most enjoy beginning with Potala Palace. Not only is its architecture fantastic and decorations ornate, but it’s also a great place to start learning about Tibetan culture and history. Afterwards, its a short walk over to Jokhang Temple.

Day 3: More sightseeing in Lhasa or take a day trip to Lake Namtso. Those who stay in Lhasa can choose to visit places like Norbulingka (summer palace of the Dalai Lama), Sera Monastery, and Drepung Monastery (home of the Debating Monks). Those who make the trip out to Lake Namtso will enjoy an entire day of beautiful Tibetan scenery!

Day 4: Depending on the groups departure times, there may be an additional chance for last minute exploring or shopping before heading off to the airport or train station. The groups guide will see everyone off at the shuttle stop.

Tibet travel agency TCTS wants to make travelling in Tibet accessible to all travelers. Travelling in Tibet can be a pricey adventure when going at it alone, but with budget tours by TCTS, travelers can retain much of the ease and flexibility of a private tour. With the travel season right around the corner, now is the time to start planning a visit!

Groupize Announces 5 Group Travel Predictions for U.S. Hotels in 2015

Boston, MA (PRWEB) January 28, 2015

By all accounts, 2015 is set to be a banner year for the U.S. hotel industry with occupancy levels reaching their highest point in 20 yearsprojected at 64.8%and ADR continuing upward (PWC). Capturing group travel business will be more important than ever, and hotels that are ready to do business the way todays group planners desire will reap the rewards. To assist hotels with strategizing the crucial group segment, here are our predictions for the coming 12 months.

1. Group demand will be the driving force behind hotel occupancy & higher ADR

In late 2013, group demand was at the lowest point in a downward spiral; however, not only has it shifted, it is anticipated that group demand will reach the highest level in three years in 2015. Every indication is that hotels will see increases in occupancy, group, average ADR, and group ADR this year. Already in the first quarter of 2015, the segment group has had a 2.9% increase in ADR and a 3.7% increase in committed occupancy (NAHR).

2. Yield management will depend on securing advanced bookings for groups

With occupancy at record levels, inventory will be at a prime. Hotels must focus on capturing the groups which typically represent secure advanced reservations 60 days out. Because of inventory pressures, Groups will not be as discounted as in the past, but the ability to secure a base will allow revenue managers to increase rates for last minute bookings.

3. Cross-platform planning changes group organizers needs

Just like hotel leisure guests, planners are juggling smartphones, tablets, and desktops for research and, preferably, for booking as well. Web responsive designs as well as mobile apps that allow planner to manage groups will become the norm rather than the exception. They will expect easy access to capabilities such as e-invitations, payment choices, communication with hotel staff and attendees, and rooming list management at their fingertips.

4. While group occupancy increases, group size decreases

In 2015, groups are changing in many ways, including becoming smaller than the traditional 10-room block. This is especially true with the growing economic power of Millennials, who prefer to travel in groups, and are a connected and tech savvy generation. Hotels will find it profitable to consider any booking of 4 or more rooms as a group.

This necessitates a more efficient process, one like that of Instant Group Bookings and Groupize Hub, which allows group planners digital self-management of the entire process. A self-managed system has enormous appeal to planners, which means it offers a competitive edge for the hotels that adopt it.

5. Hotels will embrace true online group bookings this year to compete with massive third party consolidation

Hotel companies have fallen behind third parties in digital capabilities for meetings and events, but by employing a few digital strategies, they can drive more direct business and impede intermediary growth. Hotels will need to embrace online group bookings this year to compete with massive third party consolidation, such as Cvent acquiring Elite Meetings.

Group e-channels target a new segment: smaller, simpler meetings that are more transactional in nature and historically have seen much lower levels of intermediation. If intermediation levels on these smaller meetings reach that of larger meetings, we could see overall intermediation rates increase as much as 10%, costing hoteliers an additional $ 350 million to $ 400 million per year in commissions. Ease of transaction and speed of response also are key to win the business. (Source: http://www.hotelnewsnow.com/Article/14767/3-ways-to-win-the-group-customer-online)

This year, Groupize Solutions anticipates 8,000-10,000 hotels will make the leap to Instant Group Booking, which means group planners will be able to complete the whole process digitallystart to finish.

In Conclusion

The bottom line is that the hotels that are evolving the way they handle group business and embracing new technologies, will benefit most from the predicted surge of group travel in 2015. While it requires re-tooling some processes, ultimately sales teams will be more efficient, and the hotel product will be more attractive to planners in what is determined to become a highly competitive market.

Los Angeles, California 90025 (PRWEB) March 24, 2015

This years HPBA Expo was held March 5th through 7th at The Music City Center in Nashville, TN. The event was attended by retailers, distributors and manufacturers of the industry from across the United States and other countries. Thirty-eight new products competed for the attendees choice award in two categories of indoor and outdoor living products. This is the second award for Infinity Canopy, which was unveiled at the awning industrys main event, the IFAI EXPO in Oct. 2014. There, it won the Showstoppers Award for the best new product in the shade category. Unlike custom canopies, that are one piece, Infinity Canopys unique modular design allows it to be as long and wide as needed, so it can adapt to any space. Infinity Canopys shade panels are individual pieces that are available in many colors, allowing the canopy to be configured in one or multiple colors. The panels available in awning grade Sunbrella Canvas or Phifertex Mesh can be easily installed on the canopys marine grade, stainless steel and aluminum frame and moved in minutes to create unique designs for any taste, style and need. One can start with an all-white canopy, replace some white panels with to blue for it to match their new furniture and add red panels to make it red, white and blue for the 4th of July. In a multi-colored canopy, the panels can be placed in various patterns to create new and unique designs such as striped or checkered. Every aspect of Infinity Canopy can be changed, even after installation, to create infinite configuration and designs, not possible by any other shade system.

Dr. Alan Shargani, the inventor of Infinity Canopy states, This is a revolutionary shade system that is adaptable, versatile, and simply infinite. The professionals attending the IFAI and HPBA recognized the uniqueness of Infinity Canopy, and were clearly excited about its prospects for their business and clients, which is why we have won these awards, he says. We were overwhelmed by their enthusiasm and humbled for their vote of confidence. We look forward to winning more awards in upcoming shows.

Infinity Canopys launch continues at the Hospitality and Design Expo May 13-15th at the Mandalay Bay Hotel, Las Vegas. For more information and pricing, please visit http://www.infinitycanopy.com or call 844-422-6679.
