Hyatt Regency’s More Meetings Offer Awards Clients

Hyatt Regency More Meetings offer, awards clients who book more than one new qualifying meeting at a time, with 100 or more paid guestrooms on peak nights through 2021; meetings can be booked at any full-service Hyatt hotel in the U.S, Canada and the Caribbean. The number of awards that the planner can choose is based on the number of meetings they book. For example, planners that book two qualifying meetings, select two rewards; book three qualifying meetings, select three rewards; book four meetings, select four awards. Planners may book up to five meetings and choose up to five rewards.

Winners Revealed For 2015 Perspective Magazine Awards

Global Traveler Announces 11th Annual GT Tested Reader Survey Awards

The results are in! For the 11th consecutive year, Global Traveler conducted its GT Tested Reader Survey, asking frequent business and luxury travelers to name the best in a variety of travel-related categories. More than 26,000 people responded. Global Travelers inaugural awards were celebrated in 2004.

Over the past 11 years, the survey has grown to honor more travel-related categories, including airlines, hotels, loyalty programs, credit cards and travel-related products in more than 80 categories. GTs distinguished readers vote for their favorites in the world of travel in an open-ended survey running in the magazine and online from January to August each year. The results of the survey are announced in the December 2014 issue, available now.

GT readers are frequent premium travelers averaging 16 international and 16 domestic round-trip flights a year, with an average household income of $ 368,900 per year. The Endeavor Awards 2015 Nominations Are Open!

Nominations for the Endeavor Awards are now open. The deadline to receive nominations is January 31, 2015 midnight PST. The Endeavor Awards Ceremony is the premiere celebration presented by Angel Flight West to honor and support volunteer pilots and the great humanitarian organizations that arrange their gifts of flight in service to individuals and communities everywhere. Each year, the Endeavor Awards are the centerpiece of a national campaign to raise awareness of what aviation makes possible through the generosity of volunteer pilots donating flights to provide access to health care, save lives, assist Veterans, rescue animals, map environmental data, assist in disaster relief and contribute to the public good in many ways.

The Endeavor Award recognizes individual volunteer pilots whose service and actions go beyond expectations and distinguish the nominee for their dedication and generosity. Nominations must be made through the online nomination form on the Endeavor Awards website http://www.endeavorawards.org.

The Endeavor Awards were established in 2014 by Angel Flight West, a volunteer pilot organization serving the 13 western states with approximately 4,000 humanitarian flights annually. Angel Flight West recognized the need for a national platform to increase understanding about the use of aviation for humanitarian purposes, to honor and recruit volunteer pilots and to raise and distribute resources to the organizations supporting and coordinating these donated flights for many purposes across the country and around the world. Only in its second year, the Endeavor Awards have already earned the support of aviators, celebrities and leaders from the aviation industry and health care providers.

Contest winner and Mount Olive, New Jersey resident Zach Hurst will be presented with the prize at the Hackettstown, New Jersey Philly Pretzel Factory, located at 150 Mountain Ave, on November 4 with a celebration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Philly Pretzel Factory CEO Dan DiZio and President Marty Ferrill will be in attendance to congratulate the winner. To extend the festivities to community members, location owners Erica and Carl Boos will be giving away one pretzel to every customer who comes into the store.

The Boos have a long-standing history of community outreach and involvement through their Philly Pretzel Factory location. From fundraisers to community events, the husband-and-wife team has embraced their neighborhood and regularly give thanks by donating pretzels to schools, athletic teams, hospitals and police and fire departments. The couple was recognized as the Rookie of the Year at the Philly Pretzel Factory annual meeting, awarded for their outstanding first year as business owners. They recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of their Hackettstown location, the same store where Hurst found the winning scratch-off ticket.

Were known as the pretzel people around town and were so grateful to the Hackettstown community and surrounding towns for their continued support, said Erica Boos. Wed like to take the time to appreciate our loyal fans and share fresh baked pretzels in honor of Zach and his big win at our location.

Philly Pretzel Factory has a longstanding tradition of serving up only fresh, authentic Philadelphia-style pretzels since its inception. Long before Philly Pretzel Factory was built, DiZio already had a vision and knack for selling the knot-shaped delights. At the age of 11, DiZio would ride his bike to the corner of Southampton and Boulevard to sell his own pretzel creations in downtown Philadelphia. The young entrepreneur would sell five pretzels for $ 1, averaging a total sale of 1,000 pretzels per day. After giving a cut to the supplier, DiZio would pocket $ 100 and ride home.

In order to turn his pretzel stand into something much bigger, DiZio teamed up with college buddy Len Lehman in 1998 to create the first Philly Pretzel Factory blueprint. Since then, the brand has grown from a single location in Mayfair to a 150-plus-unit franchise with 23 store openings this year alone, and five more expected to be operating by years end.
